“ The service here is always fast and pleasant and the food is delicious! We went for the Happy Hour and then stayed for Trivia Night! We didn't win anything but we'll definitely be going again. I'd love to try one of their new October Cocktails next time I'm there! ”

“ I came here for happy hour with some friends. The happy hour specials are good: 1/2 off draft beer and 1/2 off cocktails and they have 6 of the appetizers set at $6 for HR, which is a good number of choices. The ambience is a mixed-bag: there are arcade games and ski ball scattered amongst the lush seating around the fireplace and regular tables with heavy wooden chairs. Our server was very good and attentive. The beer selection is great! They have a lot of types of beer and interesting flavors. I ordered a beer flight (as I often do when trying a new brewery) and I liked about half of the beers. The lager I had was very bland, but I thoroughly enjoyed the B sides: mango. I ordered a goat cheese pesto flatbread and it was delicious! My group all shared our dishes and everything was top-notch. The menu is always changing, so it's exciting to go see what's new each visit. They have trivia every Wednesday and offer brunch on Sundays. ”

“ We stopped in here on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Good food, great drinks, and great service - we enjoyed our visit! We enjoyed flatbread and a pretzel braid off of their $6 happy hour menu. They were both good and very fresh! We also enjoyed a beer and a cocktail - half off during happy hour. Their cocktails come to about $7-$8 and I believe my beer was less than $4. The service was absolutely fantastic. It took some time for our food but we didn't mind - we were in no rush! If you are looking for an inexpensive, early-ish dinner, The Bearded Goat is there for you! ”

“ My boyfriend and I drove from New York to attend a concert at Hershey Stadium that was canceled at the last minute. Since it was a late show and getting this late notice, rather than driving back to New York, we decided to take advantage of a local brewery that we hadvseen a sign for that was in between HS and our hotel in New Cumberland. We are so glad we did! The place was huge inside and very well lit. There was an outdoor area as well that we saw as we walked up but didn't bother checking out because we could hear and see screaming kids and that's just not our jam but it seemed like it could have been a private party. Kudos to them! We were greeted almost immediately upon entering. Once we sat down at the bar (always our preference), several people in different waves offered menus, asked if we wanted water, and asked if we were ready to order, asked if we had questions. Like everybody was immediately on top of it. But not in a weird pushy way. There were several menus to take in, so we took our time going through everything. They even had a wine menu, which was awesome because I am not a huge beer drinker in my older age, so I liked having this as an option. We started with a flight of beer and ordered Korean nachos. The beers were good, but the Korean nachos were out of this world! The tuna seemed so fres. Itt had great heat and was bursting of flavor. And those wonton chips are so addictive! While we were taking in all of our beers, we noticed that the playlist was pretty awesome. Reflecting'80s and 90s classic rock and we found out soon enough that one of the patrons, our neighbor a few seats down, had probably spent his life savings at the "Jukebox" playing all of these bangers. Such a nice guy. Being that we were so disappointed to not attend our concert and we were drowning our sorrows the music was really an added bonus. He also made friends with a young couple that sat on our other side, and we all were chatting and laughing until basically the lights came on, and it was time to dip out. During all of these conversations, I was able to chat with one of the owners who was behind the bar servicing customers. Her name was Keeley (correct spelling?), and she was an absolute delight and was so patient in letting me taste several of the wines til i found THE ONE. I really enjoyed talking to her and hearing how her and her husband came to be owners of the brewery and the restaurant across the street. We were so busy eating our nachos, tasting our beers and wines, and jamming to the tunes that we hadn't even realized what time it was. We had all intentions to go across the street and have dinner, but by the time the lights had come on, the restaurant was to be closing in about 45 minutes. We did attempt to walk by to see if we could squeeze in another drink but chairs were already on the tables and we don't like to be those customers having worked in service at one point in our lives. All together, the place had a great vibe. Everybody had good energy, and everybody was constantly hustling. There is nothing worse than walking into a busy establishment that is really buzzing, but so many employees are standing around and not making the most of their Idle Hands and helping to get past the rush. I don't know that we will be back to Hershey anytime soon, but if we do, we will absolutely make it a point to come back to the brewery and hopefully have dinner across the way. “ I really can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. My son's soccer team with in Hershey for a tournament and we were looking for a restaurant to host a team dinner for about 50 parents and kids. I contact this Beerded Goat online and they got to me right away. They requested the team members first names and jersey numbers so they could organize the checks for the dinner. We were back and forth a couple of times via email. In addition, we had some unexpected delays that day and they were super flexible with pushing back our reservation an hour. When we walked into the spacious brewery, we noticed the tables set up with individualized goody bags for the boys with their names and jersey numbers on them, specialty "mocktails" that glowed neon blue, and amazing yard games in the area out back. The beer selection was vast and I really enjoyed the food. The menu was creative and not typical pub fare though they did have some of the standards. I enjoyed the pretzel braid appetizer and the butternut squash tacos. As the night was winding down, we spoke with the manager who shared with us that he had a sheet cake made for the boys with their team picture printed on the top of the cake! I give the Beerded Goat Brewery the strongest recommendation possible for overall service, quality of the food/drink, and the ambiance. We will be back and I will rave about this place to anyone visiting the greater Hershey/Harrisburg area. ”
